In 1967 formed this band with (clockwise from right) Barry Heffernan, Frank Mahony, myself and Aidan Heffernan.
We were all about 15- 16 and still at school. Heavily influenced by local heros Taste, we covered Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Fleetwood Mac and threw in a few Monkees for good measure.
I played lead guitar even though I didn't own an electric. Panic stations every weekend trying to borrow one for the gigs! Played regularly in the Cavern Club, in Cork that is.
Sadly, Barry was killed in a drowning accident in Scotland in 1973. Frank, too, has passed on in the last few years. Aidan lives in Cork.
