Hi Freddie, great to step back in time and see your 1979 gig on TG4 tonight. You did fool the audience with "Yas, Yas, Yas" and I loved Bobby Bland's "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City". Maybe you could bring that one back into your repertoire? Great archive programme with so many superb songs that you're still singing for us to this day. >>> Dara <<<

Love your music Freddie. Saw you in 'Horans hotel' in the 80s , where you told people to stop talking so you could hear the disco in adjoining room. Good one.

Had to use every ploy in those gigs - thankfully I don't seem to have that trouble any more. |

Hello Freddie. Really enjoy your music & have most of your CD's. A suggestion: Would you consider producing a couple of DVD's with recordings of all those good songs and your class guitar playing - with some chat added in about the origin of the songs themselves, your influences etc. Such would certainly go down well I think. Hope to see you returning again soon to Barrys in Grange, Sligo or somewhere else in the north west, Thanks for the pleasure of listening to your music John

You're not the first to ask me about this John and I will get to it... Thanks. |

Greetings, Fred. Just spotted that the old Opera House gig is on TG4 next Sunday night and repeated the following Friday. Looking forward to that!
